BPS members support, protect and uplift BPS, the Washington Spirit, DC United, the Maryland Bobcats and all fans. This includes, but is not limited to, being respectful and courteous of fellow members, any team’s players/staff, other BPS patrons both inside and outside the stadium and online and other fans or supporters groups (regardless of affiliation).
WHEN BECOMING A MEMBER BY SIGNING THE FORM PROVIDED, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
[0] AS A MEMBER OF BUZZARD POINT SOCIAL (“BPS”), YOU AFFIRM AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE MISSION, VISION, COMMITMENTS, AND GOALS OF THIS CLUB.
[1] To comply with the MLS Fan Code of Conduct (PDF), the NWSL Supporters Code of Conduct and any stadium or venue’s Code of Conduct.
[2] To sing, cheer and raise your voice for teams on game day within the supporters’ section, while remaining respectful to fellow supporters, players, game day staff, and opposing team players, staff, and supporters.
[3] To actively be inclusive, non-discriminatory and embrace all persons willing to stand with BPS to support our teams.
[4] To understand that you are responsible for your own actions and words (in all physical and digital spaces). You are asked not to speak or post on behalf of BPS. Your words and conduct from your personal accounts are not the words of BPS but can reflect negatively on BPS.
[5] To refrain from use of BPS logos. Use of any BPS logos, trademarks or property is subject to the approval of BPS leadership.
[6] To respect the privacy of all. As a member of BPS, you will at times have access to confidential information pertaining to BPS or our supported teams. Any information shared outside BPS will be considered in violation of our Code of Conduct.
[7] To follow the above statements in any stadium or outside any stadium (home games, aways days and tailgates) and any meeting of BPS.
Violations of code of conduct could result in member probation or temporary or permanent loss of membership.

- A BPS Disciplinary Committee will meet as necessary to address violations.
- BPS has the right to modify or extend this code of conduct at any time. BPS members will receive 7-day notice of any changes before going into effect.

- Responsible consumption of alcoholic beverages is acceptable. However, overly intoxicated members who visibly lack the ability to control themselves will be prohibited from participating in certain activities and events for the safety of themselves and other supporters. Excessive instances may result in probation from, or temporary or permanent ban from BPS. As dictated by law, alcohol purchase, possession or consumption by a minor is illegal and will not be tolerated.
- When becoming a member there will be a question regarding if you are okay with having photos taken of you at games and tailgates posted on our social media and website platforms.
- We cannot guarantee this, you may accidentally be photographed. Photos will be removed or edited upon request no questions asked.

- Violence by members will not be tolerated. This includes, slander, misrepresentation, spread of misinformation, threats, verbal statements, harassment, physical actions, violence directed at any person or person’s physical properties including any other supporters' groups.
- We do not support beer showers or throwing of any objects, especially within the supporters stand. This poses a danger to all.
- We do not support the use of chants that violate our stances. For example, the cullero chant. See our supported list of chants.
