"Buzzard Point Social condemns all acts of racism. The allegations levied at Taxiarchis Fountas in the Athletic are especially abhorrent considering a slur was used against his own teammate. We support Nigel Robertha and applaud him for his actions as reported in the Athletic. This is the 2nd strike against Fountas and it shouldn't have come to that.

GAME DAY RELATED
[1] COLLABORATION WITH SUPPORTERS GROUPS & IN THE STANDS
Capo Stands & La Banda
The supporters group La Banda (the main drummers and chant leaders in the section) has still not provided a response to the capo stands. If other groups are not willing to have the installation of capo stands then the board is willing to change the view on the matter. At the current moment, we are in favor of capo stands
Screaming Eagles Supporters Group
BPS President Angus and Screaming Eagles President Jimi Butler had a call in which Jimi had offered BPS the opportunity to sell food at the Screaming Eagles tailgate in which we would retain all the profits. At the moment we are discussing this collaboration and any others in the future.
[2] PHYSICAL TAILGATE?
Check up on Water St. (our tailgate spot last season for before games)
BPS President Angus will check if Water St. is still available for tailgating in a week or so to assess the location to ensure the best possible experience come the start of the season. The information on Water St. will be communicated with the other groups so they can inform their members.
[3] TICKETS
Away Matches/Tickets
Trips are planned out by Screaming Eagles and District Ultras. Schedules and prices will be posted on our social media along with places to tailgate and eat/drink. We may miss some information regarding the SE bus trips so please check their road trip twitter account: @SE_Road_Trips

UPDATES & REMINDERS
- NONPROFIT: Nonprofit status is something we are looking at as a possible goal throughout year 1 currently as we can not predict the success of BPS, it financially makes the most sense for board members and members to start the year as a group of friends who band together!
- NAME: Dropping club from name
- MONEY: During year 1, we have currently agreed that funds will go towards 4 items:
- 1 Flag
- 1 Banner to be used in supporters sections,
- 1 piece of merchandise
- 1 member gift
- Any possible tailgates are BYO & potluck style
NEXT MEETING FOCUS POINTS |

We are moving forward with the intention to eventually apply to be a 501c7 social club with the IRS as a tax-exempt non profit.
OUR CURRENT FOCUS: Applying to be a corporation in the state of VA.

OUR CURRENT FOCUS: Applying to be a corporation in the state of VA.
- Once we are a legally recognized corporation, we will apply for a EIN basically a SSN for a company so then we can apply federally to be a 501c7 tax-exempt non profit.

- Member Dues & funding the application processes listed above
- Vote on main logo.
- Finalize roles of each board member, term limits and more structural elements.
