STADIUM UPGRADES -2 Capo Stands, one each at the bottom of sections 136 & 137. Smoke rail on each stand, 2 people are allowed on each stand at a time. They must be credentialed. -Graphics for tunnels up to 136/137. One graphic says "Chico Stand", other says "All Welcome, All United" -Old "Fake" Hall of Tradition plaques at Gate C have been removed. -"You Cant Hold Us Back" tifo image going up as well. -Brickwork being done on 8 columns underneath East side stands (between Gates A & B. -8 current players going up for current Hall of Tradition. Other members planning on going up at a later date. Should be done by February 16th. -Mural at Gate B almost done: -The Washington Spirit are also getting a mural, specifics to be determined.
-Roof is 95% done, small structural repairs being done. -Banners showcasing history next to sponsor banners on West side roof still planning on going up. -Video board going in under East side stands next to new beer garden. -Video board on South Stand is getting replays and a live feed (no more need to strain neck to watch replays). -Cup holders are still being worked on, won't be ready for day 1 but will be installed during the season. -Timeline murals: Will be imagines of the years blending together. There will be a separate mural that will showcase Lucho-Wayne goal. Will feature Dave Johnson's iconic call of the play. -Spirit will get some space and more stuff over time. Team doesn't want XFL down their necks because Spirit are getting "special treatment". Question from Nelson about treating Chico Stand like a "premium section", requiring another scan of your ticket, and a wristband to access the section. First impression was that the group didn't like it, but pitched as a way to manage away fans, and keep them out of the section. People will have to show their actual ticket this year, no screenshots. Group warmed to the idea as the discussion went on. TICKETING -There will be NO Ticketmaster fees in the section when bought through a legitimate DCU avenue. -SINGLE GAME TICKETS- -Option 1, buy through Supporters Groups Cheapest option, cost per ticket $28 (EVERY GAME, NO VARIABLE PRICE) No Ticketmasater fees Groups promote and collect info for tickets. Purchasing windows: one week, 3 days, 3 hours before game time. Would be able to pay through SG, can accept payment any way. No cap on availability, until section sells out. -Option 2, Box Office Opens 4 hours prior to game time. No Ticketmaster fees. Variable pricing (ranged $28 - $35 per ticket depending on game). Availability may be limited. Ability to pay in cash. -Option 3, Ticketmaster Online Single Game tickets through DCU Single Game Ticket Page 136/137 can only be bought through the supporters' link, all other tickets in app are verified resale tickets. Cost $28 - $35 depending on game. Again, NO Ticketmaster fees. OTHER NOTES -Visiting supporters tickets are $40, 2nd highest in the league. Team said they'd look at it and possibly adjust to help with goodwill amongst other groups and to help us out on the backend for visiting supporters groups. -Season ticket member options are $520 for a full season ($26/match), 8 match pack $221 ($27.50/match), flex plan 10% off single match rate via credit packs. -Dynamic ticket pricing may be dumped in 2024. Too far through this year to ditch it now. -Looking into editing the front of the ticket to just show "General Admission". -STM perk of Away Trips still being worked on, expect update on that from reps in the coming weeks before season starts. CREDENTIALS -Credentials will allow set up process to be expedited. -Set up window is 3:30 - 4:30 for every game. No game kicks off earlier than 7:30. -Only one person within a group needs a credential to admit the group.
